Monday, June 29
I'm all packed and ready for Camp Big Bear. Lucky for me mom is catoring. So not cool. I'm Cabin 3. The girls who share my cabin are Eliot, Stallot, Scarlomt, and Avarim. Sometimes your happy to have a easy-to-pronounce name like Dahlia. Eliot is the counsoler. She doesn't count. Stallot is from Egypt. Scarlomt is from Paris. Avarim is from Japan. I told them I'm from Maine. They didn't look impressed. Stallot pointed out that we're in Maine. She's also the one who took the top bunk from me. She acts like the top bunk is an Oscar. Avarim is kinda shy. She doesn't talk much. Scarlomt is becoming my best friend. She too has a Yorkshire Terrier. Now gotta go.

My E-Book

I have decided to do a book on my blog. Tell me what you think.

Saturday, June 15
Ever since I was five, I wanted to go to Camp Big Bear for girls. Now that I am eleven, I am allowed to. The only problem is “mom” says no. N-O. As in never in twenty years. I tried to explain.
“Camp Big Bear has a pool, and a rock wall, and thirty consolers, and twelve CIT’s (consoler in training). Plus an A.W.S.C.B.P. (activities-with-self-confidence-building-person) Plus three free meals a day and it’s only ten miles from here going southeast toward Black Raven Woods. Please. Pretty, pretty, please with marshmallows on top.
“Forget the idea Shorty.” Did I mention I have an annoying fifteen year old brother named Mike?
“My name isn’t Shorty. It’s Dahlia.
This is a typical mother daughter please-no fight. Mom finnaly gave in. It felt good. Now I have to wait two weeks for camp to start.

The One...The Only!

My mom wanted for me to start blogging. She showed me blogger.com, and here I am now. WARNING: If you are not an eco-lover, do not read any further. I am an only child (thus the title). I-, wait. Let's not talk about me, let's talk about you! Oh, this is my blog so let's talk more about... (sound the trumpets) ME!! I am a true American Girl. I am collecting money for polar bears, picking up trash, and am a straight A student. (I know I am supposed to be modest) so let's put it this way, I never got a B. Now a quick movie review:

Chrissa Stands Strong
This movie is really good I think. It is about a girl named Chrissa Maxwell who moves from Iowa to Minnesota. She has to start school mid year. Chrissa befriends the loser-girl and three girls, the Mean Bees, start the teasing. Can Chrissa, Gwen(loser-girl), and Sonali (former mean bee), stop the bullying. And for good?

Thanks for listening
